Manual vehicles are much more common in the Balkans than automatic vehicles. You can rent an automatic but these cars can cost as much as 50% more than a manual vehicle.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF LOCATIONS
Sometimes it makes sense to pick up a car at one location and drop it off at a different location. YOUR ID AND DRIVERS PERMIT ARE VERIFIED ONLINE BY RENTOUT
RENTOUT facilitates the need for an International Driver Permit if you rent your car from us. By renting with us, you’ll have all the needed documents online to freely cross the border. With other companies, this is not possible, you may need an International Driver Permit if you travel outside these countries. IDP translates your Driver’s License into 10 different languages. It contains your name, photograph, and driver information. It is important to know that an IDP does not replace your Driver’s License or passport; it supplements your Driver’s License.
THE “INSURANCE GREEN CARD”
A green card, which is a cross-border insurance card that proves that your car has at least the minimum level of insurance required, is also offered online by Rentout for 15–40 euros, depending on which country you want to travel. There is no need to wait in line anymore. Most countries in the EU do not require you to have a green card.
