To book a vehicle on Rentout, you must create a Rentout account, be 18 years old, and have a valid driver’s license. When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for all future road trips, leisure trips, or business trips!

As the first car-sharing mobile application in the Balkans, Rentout will provide the largest car fleet to be rented. Therefore, as the widest fleet online, you will have thousands of car rental possibilities, and the rental prices will be the cheapest you may find in these 4 countries.

From September 2024, our app will be operational in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, and within 2 years, we will be operational in Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey.

No worries, there will be at least 5000 to 10.000 Rentout’s in 134 cities. 

You need your valid ID and driver’s license in order to register your account within two minutes for the first time. Then you’ll always have access to many vehicles and mobility services in the Balkans countries for the cheapest price.

As a Driver or as a Host, you are not obliged to buy an insurance plan on our platform. However, you must purchase such insurance plans if you want to benefit from different insurance plans or 24/7 road assistance. In order to protect their vehicles, some of our Hosts may activate an obligatory option for their Clients to always buy an insurance plan. In that case, if you do not wish to buy an insurance plan, please choose another vehicle to rent. For the first time in these countries, Rentout is providing to its users with a wide choice of daily insurance plans and road assistance services online.

Yes, you can allow other people to drive your car without incurring additional fees. However, they need to register on our platform for verification by our support team and to take advantage of our insurance plans and 24/7 road assistance. You can add a second driver to your trip request with no fees, even though he/she is a young driver. There are no extra fees applied.

Yes, the Rentout platform allows you to pay cash to our Hosts the day of your rental. However, if you wish to pay online for the amount of your rental, our platform provides you with that option as well. In every case, our service fees or your requested insurance plans must be paid online. In spite of every choice you made, a detailed receipt and a rent agreement will be available online at your profile or mailbox in the trip section as proof of your requested services.

Rentout team, our international partners and our powerful AI tool will support you 24/7 for any of your claims and requests in order to properly resolve your rental issues. Our platform & app are coded to support you 24/7, before, after and during your trip with us. In case of an accident, damaged car or any other claim, we coded our platform and mobile apps to directly support your claims online. Our support and help center is there 24/7 to find the right solution for you. Together, the support team and help center are directly connected with all our Hosts, public authorities, medical authorities, police, etc. No worries, for any situation, we have been prepared to be there for you 24/7.

Yes, you can get your car delivered or picked up by you for some extra fees. These fees are differently proposed by each Hosts. They can even decide to deliver your car without fees, it is up to them. In any case, these fees are calculated based on the distance from the car’s location to your requested location. We do recommend to our hosts some reference prices in order for them to decide the appropriate price.

The Rentout check-in and check-out process will instantly provide you, before and after the rental, with the option to approve or decline the conditions of your rented car by accepting or not the condition images of the delivered car. If you choose to approve the car delivery as shown in the photos uploaded live by our Hosts, then your rental can legally and financially properly begin. If you’re not satisfied with the state of your rented car when our Hosts deliver it, you have the option to decline your rental. At that point, a full refund process will start, transferring the money you paid into your bank account.

Rentout offers the same checkout process to facilitate your car delivery and assure you of its condition. Within 24 hours, Rentout will automatically complete the checkout process if neither our Hosts nor our Drivers have any claims regarding this delivery. Otherwise, if our hosts have any claims regarding your car delivery, they must prove to us within 24 hours some supporting evidence for their claims. In this scenario, our team will notify you, and both the Rentout team and the insurance company will verify the Host’s claim. If our team or the insurance company validates the host’s claim, we will apply our violation policies or insurance policies accordingly.
