It also boasts a ton of quaint bars!
It’s time to drive to Gjakova, a small ancient village with an amazing covered market, from Prizren. Proceed from there to Peja in the northern region of Kosovo, including a stop at Decani, the second UNESCO monastery.
The Peja Patriarchate, the spiritual home and mausoleum of the Serbian Patriarchs, is located in Pec, which is also home to a sizable Serbian community. It’s also the entry point to the breathtaking Rugova Valley, an outdoor enthusiasts’ paradise.
